6 Basic Guides to Acne Free Skin Care
Acne happens to be one of the most common skin problems faced by both adults and teenagers. Although it is more prone to teenagers and young adults due to the active production of sebum, there is an easier solution to control acne.
The worst thing you can do to hide the acne is with heavy makeup, hair or even the attempt to “burst” it. This could lead to permanent scarring which would even further devastate your already low self esteem due to acne problems. Here are some 6 basic skin care guidelines you can use to get an acne free skin
- Eating right
Although there is no research that proves eating oily food can lead to an acne outbreak, but a balanced diet can help by giving your system the necessary weapons to fight against the acne. What’s more, eating right can also help make your skin look brighter and healthier. Eating more fruits and vegetables will be able to nourish your body with the right amount of vitamins and minerals which in return would nourish your skin. It is also recommended to drink sufficient amount of water (about 8 glasses a day) to help wash the toxins in your body
- Cleansing the right way
Everyone knows that cleansing is an important part of our daily routine to maintain a clear complexion. However, it is advisable not to over wash your face as 2 times a day with mild cleansers is sufficient enough. Don’t ever use harsh scrubs or alcohol to wash face as it would bring a reverse effect! Exfoliating twice a week with a mild exfoliate is a great way to scrub away dead skin cells and other impurities but once again, over exfoliating can lead to skin irritation
- Protecting your skin
Although sun exposure can provide our skin with vitamin D3, excessive sun exposure can lead more acne outbreak. Therefore, it is advisable to use sun block whenever you are out of the house
Resting enough
Take sufficient amount of good night sleep as sleeping will also give time for your skin to rest. Try taking less than 7-8 hours of sleep and you will see your skin appearing pale and dull which is an indication of a weaker immune system which in return would make your skin prone to more acne outbreaks
- Exercise daily
Exercising is always recommended by doctors and healthcare professional all around. Now, you have another reason to exercise more. Exercising will increase blood flow circulation which would increase the vitamins and minerals absorption in body that would help detoxify your body. Exercising can also reduce stress which is important in maintaining a clear and healthy skin
- Relax yourself
Stress and tension can lead to release in hormone known as Cortisol which causes many chronic diseases. Cortisol also causes acne flare ups and severe outbreaks if this hormone level escalates. Therefore, it is important to take your time to sit down and relax. You can even take up meditation as meditation allows your body to relax and releases the good hormones which can help your mind to take off your pressure
